EKBI Billund Airport MSFS updated to version 1.7.0

An update for EKBI Billund Airport is now available. Version 1.7.0 is a free update that makes the scenery compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

Installation:
If you have previously installed EKBI Billund Airport in either MSFS 2020 or 2024, you must first delete the folder "vidandesign-billund" located in your "Community" folder before installing version 1.7.0.

New in version 1.7.0:
1. Updated the installer to support Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
2. MSFS 2024 scenery project compiled with MSFS 2024 SDK
3. Updated apron and taxiway textures
4. Added LOD's on the terminal building to meet the requirements for MSFS 2024
5. Updated terminal building with higher resolution textures
6. Added missing taxi stripes at stands at the terminal
7. Removed "footprints" of airplanes on aerial images
8. Adjusted the glass color on terminal building
9. Updated the scenery so that there is no longer snow inside the terminal building during snowy weather
10. Removed redundant aprons and ground polygons
11. Added more lamps and lights to the airport area
12. Added LOD's to jetways so that they meet the requirements for MSFS 2024
13. Various minor changes and fixes

Version 1.7.0 is available now on SimNord's website and at simMarket now. The update has been submitted to Microsoft and is awaiting approval and release on the MSFS 2020 Marketplace.

Known issues. In MSFS 2024, emissive textures are very dark. This is a known issue that will reportedly be fixed in SimUpdate 1. Jetway animations only work when the user is relatively close to them. Jetway animations work best with graphics settings set to "Highend" or higher.
